Your operating system can likely extract zipped downloads automatically, but you may require software such as WinZip for PC, or StuffIt on a Mac.

• Some readers have reported that the download files don't contain some of the external JavaScript files for Spry effects and widgets. This was done deliberately to demonstrate how Dreamweaver copies them automatically to the SpryAssets folder. If you do the exercises in the order they appear in the book, all the necessary files should be created. If you want to do the exercises in a different order, and find that a file is missing, open a blank page and apply a Spry effect or insert a Spry widget. Dreamweaver will then generate all the necessary files. Alternatively, you can download the entire Spry framework from labs.adobe.com.
