Nathalie is an alternative experiment of drop out ex-religious hippy parents, and ex-die-hard communist grandparents. Since both her grandparents and parents were educators, she was home schooled together with her siblings. As far as she can tell today, their experiment was successful. Her family didn’t stop at that; now they’ve formed a family business/art collective in Kranj, Slovenia. Her mother is a designer and her grandparents are both accomplished artists and authors. Because of this, they dragged Nathalie and her siblings into every museum and exhibition within close proximity while they were still in their baby strollers. Since she was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and lived for many years in Cologne, Germany, and in Los Angeles, California, Nathalie grew up with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, critical thinking, and art.
