Freak of Nature by Teodoru Badiu
I was born and grew up in the beautiful town of Sibiu, Romania. In the 1989 revolution at the age of 23, I was wounded and brought to a hospital in Vienna where I had to stay for four months until I was able to walk again and turn back home. After a short time, I came back to Vienna where I have lived until today with my eight-year old son and my wife. I had some hard times as a foreigner, and it was not easy to learn a new language and start building a new life from scratch but I did manage it at last. I was also able to follow my dreams and study art and design alongside a day job in an iron foundry. Even when it wasn't easy, I learned that nothing is impossible. Today, I am studying for my Creative Media Diploma at SAE in Vienna and seeing my artistic aspirations fulfilled.
